In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret sect.
The questline centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an special katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
